"Bulgarian Identity Documents" Sector is a specialized unit for issuing Bulgarian identity documents to Bulgarian citizens and control over their use and storage.
The main tasks of the sector are:
• Reception, drafting and service of identity documents of Bulgarian citizens
• Control over the use and preservation of identity documents of Bulgarian citizens
• Support for documentary, filing and automated information funds
• Provision of data from the information funds to state bodies, legal and natural persons.
