Senior Commissioner Stoyno Cvetanov Cvetkov was born on November 25, 1972 in the town of Pazardzhik.

Education:
He graduated from the New Bulgarian University, with a Master’s Degree in Law, in 1990. He passed an international police training course ILEA - Budapest and various courses and training programs in the country and abroad.
Professional career:
He joined the system of the Ministry of Interior in 2003 as an investigating police officer in the 9th Territorial Police Department within Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior. He has successively held the following positions: Head of the Investigation Sector in the 9th Territorial Police Department within Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior, Deputy Director of the General Directorate for Pre-Trial Proceedings and Head of the Investigation Department of Sofia Metropolitan Directorate of Interior, Deputy Director of General Directorate National Police, leadership position in the General Directorate Border Police.
By order of the Minister of Interior, dated 08.07.2026, he was appointed Deputy Director of General Directorate National Police.
