Training curricula
The Faculty of Fire Safety and Civil Protection is a bearer of a long tradition in the preparation of engineering personnel for the needs of fire and emergency safety in Bulgaria. It trains specialists to acquire educational qualification degrees:
- „Bachelor“ and „Master“ - in „Fire and Emergency Safety" specialty as well as for the acquisition of the educational and scientific degree
- „Doctor“ - in the scientific specialties of „Safety at work and fire-fighting technique“ and
„Protection of the population and the national economy in critical situations“.
During their training, the students study fundamental engineering disciplines, as well as special ones, in the field of fire safety.
Fire sports, martial arts and foreign languages are widely represented.
Each year, full-time trainees com-plete a one-month internship at the divisions of MoI, which enables them to put their knowledge into practice.
