Schengen

Fundamental rights of the citizens with respect to their personal data

- Right of access to the information concerning them
- Right to ask the personal data controller (the Minister of the Interior) to correct/delete the data which concerns them
- Right to file a complaint against a decision of the personal data controller
- Right to appeal before the national supervisory authority for personal data protection against the decision of the controller in connection with the access to their personal data – the Commission for Personal Data Protection
- Right to pursue their rights through legal proceedings before a judicial authority
