What do we have to submit?

For the issuance of the relevant document citizens of Bulgaria shall submit application forms in accordance with the model for issuance of identity documents.

On the submission of the application for the first identity documents only, a certified birth certificate shall be required. The persons shall also present a document on the civic status certifying any changes in personal data. A photograph, which the official shall stick on, shall be included in the application. All three documents may be issued with one and the same application. In such case all documents are charged for one and the same type of service (ordinary, accelerated or express).
