Projects

Strengthening control of the Bulgarian Black Sea Maritime border (2000)

This project is the second part of the multi-year strategy for strengthening the future external borders of the EU. This is done on the basis of the best European practices and by introduction of operational standards and practices in the Bulgarian border police. The short-term objectives are related to the strengthening the Black Sea border of Bulgaria as it is one of the most critical areas as it comes to cases of border infringement or illegal trafficking in people, drugs and armory.
